‘Do Not Enter’ is an original play created through a series of collaborative workshops with a group of young people in 2024. Our intentions for this project were to develop the young peoples’ skills in storytelling and creating characters. My role within this project required me to liaise with the school to set shared aims and intentions for the project, create a timeline in order to achieve this, and plan and execute workshops that resulted in the creation and development of the performance.  

By creating workshops centred around creative play, self-expression and collaboration, the students were successfully able to each create their own characters and backstories whilst working together to develop a coherent narrative for the play.
