‘Something About Tents’ is an original, postmodern performance that explores the multitude of connections society has with tents. It’s deconstructive, sometimes humorous but fragmented approach to combining multiple lived experiences from around the globe creates a complex portrayal of human connections and betrayals that questions what and who we value most. Within this devised process, I collaborated with other artists in order to choreograph material, write text and perform in this production. My individual role as a creative producer for this project required me to manage rehearsal schedules, visualise the set and take responsibility for the sound and lighting design of the piece.
